  • Prepare and maintain instructional materials, equipment, and learning spaces to support effective teaching practices.
  • Monitor student attendance, maintain accurate academic records, and ensure timely submission of grades and evaluations.
  • Adhere to lesson plans and syllabi to achieve instructional goals and maintain curriculum consistency.
  • Provide individualized tutoring and guidance to support student learning and academic success.
  • Participate actively in departmental meetings, training sessions, and professional development initiatives to enhance instructional effectiveness.
  • Ensure a clean, safe, and professional learning environment that complies with institutional and regulatory standards.
  • Promptly report any incidents, concerns, or issues to the appropriate administrative personnel.
  • Maintain compliance with institutional policies, state regulations, and accreditation requirements.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support the overall objectives of the educational program.

  • Post-secondary certificate or degree in Dental Assisting or a related field, meeting TWC and ABHES standards.
  • Active certification or licensure recognized by state and accrediting agencies.
  • 1-2 years of professional experience in the dental field or instructional experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated strong communication skills and a commitment to fostering student success.
