Holiday Inn Express in Siloam Springs is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper/Laundry Attendant to join our team! As a team member, you will play a vital role in ensuring our guests enjoy a clean, comfortable, and welcoming stay.

Responsibilities:

  • Clean and maintain guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas to hotel standards.
  • Change bed linens, replace towels, and restock guest room supplies.
  • Vacuum, dust, mop, and sanitize surfaces.
  • Report maintenance issues or damages to management.
  • Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines.
  • Provide excellent customer service when interacting with guests.
  • Understand operation of washing machines and dryers.
  • Load and unload washes according to standards.
  • Wash and dry all dirty linens, towels, rags, etc.
  • Sort all hotel linen according to type, color, size, etc.
  • Pre-treat all stained linen before washing.
  • Clean dryer filter daily and maintain all equipment as trained.
  • Operate iron as per standard and ensure that it is shut off at the end of day.
  • Sweep and mop laundry floors, storing all linens off the floor.
  • Fold towels and linens.
  • Remove and sort dirty linens and towels from laundry carts.
  • Keep laundry carts clean and free of debris.
  • Maintain clean work area.
  • Sort clean laundry according to type and load carts.


Requirements:

  • Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred but not required.
  • Ability to work efficiently and independently.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Must be able to perform physical tasks such as bending, standing, and lifting.
  • Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.

  • Cargar y descargar las lavadoras según los estándares.
  • Lavar y secar toda la ropa sucia, incluidas sábanas, toallas, trapos, etc.
  • Clasificar toda la ropa del hotel según el tipo, color, tamaño, etc.
  • Pretratar toda la ropa manchada antes de lavarla.
  • Limpiar el filtro de la secadora diariamente y mantener todo el equipo según la capacitación recibida.
  • Operar la plancha según los estándares y asegurarse de apagarla al final del día.
  • Barrer y trapear los pisos de la lavandería, almacenando toda la ropa fuera del suelo.
  • Doblar toallas y sábanas.
  • Retirar y clasificar la ropa sucia y las toallas de los carros de lavandería.
  • Mantener los carros de lavandería limpios y libres de residuos.
  • Mantener el área de trabajo limpia.
  • Clasificar la ropa limpia según el tipo y cargar los carros.


Requisitos:

  • Experiencia previa en limpieza o en un puesto similar (preferible, pero no obligatoria).
  • Capacidad para trabajar de manera eficiente e independiente.
  • Atención al detalle.
  • Capacidad para levantar hasta libras y realizar tareas físicas como agacharse, estar de pie y levantar objetos.
  • Disponibilidad para trabajar fines de semana y días festivos.
