Job Description

Salary: $80,000 - 95,000 per year Requirements:

• Strong grasp of fundamental networking principles and the OSI model.
• Hands-on experience with dynamic routing protocols like OSPF and BGP.
• Proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting routers and switches in practical settings.
• Capability to analyze packet flow and protocol actions to determine underlying issues.
• Effective communication skills with a knack for documentation.
• Self-driven, meticulous, and able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Willingness to thrive in a small company where taking initiative and ownership is essential.

• Monitor and sustain the ICS production network to guarantee stability and uptime.
• Set up, implement, and validate new services and network installations.
• Diagnose routing, switching, and connectivity problems within a multi-vendor environment.
• Engage in an escalated on-call rotation to address outages and issues impacting customers.
• Record network configurations, standards, and processes to facilitate repeatability and support from others.
• Assist in testing new hardware, software, and design methods to enhance ICS services.
• Collaborate with upstream providers and peers, including managing eBGP sessions and routing policies.
• Offer remote assistance to internal teams, contractors, and vendors as required.
