Powder Coating Tech

Exciting Opportunity for a Powder Coating Technician in Poughkeepsie, NY!
We are currently seeking a skilled Powder Coating Technician to join our team. If you have previous practice in powder coating and possess a keen eye for detail, we want to hear from you.
This is a full-time position offering a competitive pay rate of $18 per hour.

Powder Coating Technician General Requirements:

»Previous practice in powder coating is preferred, demonstrating your knowledge of the process and techniques involved.

»Strong attention to detail to ensure high-quality finishes on coated parts.

» capability to follow instructions and work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.

»Physical stamina and capability to lift and move heavy parts as required.

Powder Coating Technician Responsibilities:

»Hang and prepare steel parts for powder coating, ensuring proper surface cleaning and preparation.

»Perform manual tasks such as wiping parts down by hand, pressure washing, and applying tape or plugs to protect specific areas from powder coating.

»Apply powder coating to parts and machinery using a variety of colors, ensuring even and consistent coverage.

»Efficiently move coated parts from the spray booth to the oven and subsequently to the cooling area.
