Responsibilities:

Position Summary:

Provides basic patient care under the supervision of the RN team member.

Qualifications:

Required Qualifications:

• Current California Nurses Assistant Certification.
• Current BLS provider 
• AB508 Training within ninety (90) days 
• Must be able to read, write and speak effectively in English 
• Must be able to work variable shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays 

Preferred Qualifications:

• High School graduate or equivalent or above
• One-year acute care experience as a nursing assistant. 

 

Physical Requirements:

• Position involves standing and walking for long periods of time, approximately 75% of the workday.
• Must be able to transfer and lift patients as necessary. Weight will vary from patient to patient. 
• Must have the dexterity, coordination, and visual and auditory acuity to perform all job responsibilities. 
• Must be able to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing. 
• Must be free from signs of illness and infection.
