Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to oversee daily operations in a fast-paced food processing facility. The ideal candidate will ensure production targets are met while maintaining strict quality, safety, and regulatory standards. This role requires strong leadership, hands-on supervision, and the ability to manage teams in a refrigerated/processing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate daily production activities to meet output and efficiency targets
• Lead, train, and motivate production staff to ensure high performance and adherence to company policies
• Monitor product quality and ensure compliance with food safety standards (HACCP, CFIA, GMP)
• Ensure proper handling, processing, and packaging of perishable food products
• Maintain a safe working environment and enforce health & safety regulations
• Schedule shifts, assign tasks, and manage workforce planning
• Identify process improvements to increase productivity and reduce waste
• Coordinate with quality assurance, maintenance, and warehouse teams
• Maintain accurate production records and reports
• Address employee concerns and resolve operational issues promptly

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of supervisory experience in food processing, manufacturing, or similar environment
• Experience in seafood/meat processing is a strong asset
• Knowledge of HACCP, GMP, and food safety regulations
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Ability to work in a cold/refrigerated environment
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Flexible to work shifts, including evenings or weekends if required
