Registered Nurse (Behavioral Health / Psychiatric) – Rochester, NY. This travel, temporary assignment starts 04/27/2026 for 13 weeks, with a weekly pay range of $1,643 to $1,768 and no guaranteed hours. Shift is 12-hour nights. Responsibilities
- Conduct intake assessments through interviews with patients and relatives to gather case history
- Plan and provide nursing care for behavioral health patients
- Make nursing diagnoses and recommend treatment options; design treatment plans with the interdisciplinary team
- Administer and monitor reactions to psychotropic medications and other prescribed drugs
- Maintain a safe and secure environment for staff and patients; uphold patient confidentiality
- Document all patient information in medical charts following physician orders and standard recordkeeping

Requirements
- Active New York RN license
- BLS certification (American Heart Association)
- Minimum 2 years RN experience; behavioral health/psychiatric nursing experience in a clinical setting
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts in a high-acuity behavioral health environment
