Job Description

Otterly Baths is a fast-growing bathroom remodeling company on a mission to become the most trusted name in our market. We’re building a world-class in-house creative team to educate homeowners, build trust, and grow an audience that converts to long-term customers. We’re growing fast and looking for people who want to grow with us.

The Role

We’re looking for a creative all-rounder who can handle both video editing and graphic design under one roof. You’ll edit long-form YouTube content, turn it into short-form clips for social, AND own the visual brand across every touchpoint—van wraps, brochures, thumbnails, website graphics, and more. If you love switching between Premiere Pro and Illustrator in the same day, this role was made for you.

What You’ll Do — Video Editing

  • Edit 4–8 YouTube videos per month (15–20 min long-form educational content)
  • Repurpose each video into 3–5 short-form clips for Reels, Shorts, and TikTok
  • Add captions, lower-thirds, transitions, B-roll, music, and color grading
  • Create intro/outro sequences, chapter markers, and video thumbnails
  • Maintain a content asset library—organized footage, graphics, templates, and brand kit
  • Collaborate with leadership on feedback, revisions, and turnarounds within 48–72 hours

What You’ll Do — Graphic Design & Brand

  • Design van wraps, vehicle graphics, and fleet branding; coordinate with print vendors
  • Create brochures, booklets, leave-behinds, proposal templates, business cards, door hangers, and yard signs
  • Design YouTube thumbnails, channel art, Instagram templates, Story frames, and Facebook ad creative
  • Produce website banners, infographics, before/after graphics, and landing page assets
  • Create light motion graphics: animated lower-thirds, intros/outros, and social story animations
  • Own and evolve the brand style guide—colors, typography, logo usage, iconography
  • Design seasonal campaign visuals, promotional materials, and Meta ad creative

Required Skills

  • Adobe Premiere Pro and/or Final Cut Pro for video editing
  • Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign for design work
  • Strong understanding of YouTube algorithm and short-form platform best practices
  • Print production knowledge (bleed, CMYK, press-ready files)
  • Color grading, captioning, and subtitle creation
  • Brand identity development and style guide management

Bonus Skills (Nice to Have)

  • Adobe After Effects for motion graphics
  • DaVinci Resolve or CapCut
  • Vehicle wrap design experience
  • Figma or Adobe XD for web/UI assets
  • Canva Pro for team templates
  • Photography editing
  • Experience in home services, real estate, or education content

Ideal Candidate

  • Has a portfolio or showreel showing both video editing and design work
  • Understands what makes people watch past the first 30 seconds on YouTube
  • Takes ownership—sees a messy brand and wants to fix it, not just execute tasks
  • Self-motivated, reliable, and able to hit deadlines without hand-holding
  • Communicates well with non-designers (translates “make it pop” into actual decisions)
  • Organized—can juggle a van wrap, 8 thumbnails, and a video edit in the same week
  • Curious about the brand and wants to understand what Otterly Baths stands for

This Is NOT the Right Role If

  • Your only tools are Canva and iMovie
  • You need heavy direction on every project
  • You don’t have a portfolio to show

Compensation

  • $18–$25/hr depending on experience (part-time or full-time)
  • Adobe Creative Cloud license provided
  • Performance bonuses tied to channel growth and brand milestones
  • Growth opportunity—as the team expands, this role leads all in-house creative

To Apply

Send the following portfolio to ***email_hidden***

  • Video editing reel or at least 3 examples of edited YouTube videos or Reels
  • Design portfolio showing brand work across multiple formats
  • A short note about your creative process and how you approach a new brand
  • Tools you use and turnaround time you can commit to
  • Availability (hours/week) and whether you’re open to growing to full-time

Applications without a portfolio will not be considered.*
